Belle's is expanding its bread program, and need your help! Belle’s is a delicatessen and bar in the close-knit community of Highland Park. We're steadfast on making great food, and love spinning new-ish takes on Jewish classics. We’re slinging bagels daily, and soon much more! Who are you? You're responsible, ambitious, knowledgeable, patient, and comfortable in a leadership role. Early shifts are not intimidating to you, and baking is a passion. Duties / expectations: Managing, quality-controlling, and organizing inventory and production on a daily/weekly basis. Training/guiding members of the bread team to expand their knowledge, and eventually the restaurant's offerings based on house recipes and techniques. Executing positional shifts while leading by example. Ex: multitasking while remaining organized; working under pressure while staying focused/centered, etc. Upkeeping food safety and environmentalhealth standards Coordinating and communicating team progress, equipmentrepairs, and other needs with commissary manager and/or owner(s). Collaborativemenu development, with guidance. (Not mandatory.) Lifting up to 50lbs at a time Upholding health and safety standards Experience in bread production is preferred.
